Winner Winner, Who's the Lucky Winner?

"The time has come," the Walrus said,"To talk of many things: Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--Of cabbages--and kings--And why the sea is boiling hot--And whether pigs have wings."

I will send out a bonus package of cookies to the first person who can correctly tell me where the above quote comes from.

Late Wednesday night, My husband and I were restless and decided to take a drive. We ended up going 4 hours south of us to Columbus, TX, where my husband lived as a child. It is a small little town that has not changed at all, he says, in the last 20 years. It was neat to get to see where my husband played little league at and how far he had to ride his bike to get there. I was not able to take any pictures, as this was a spontaneous trip, I left the camera at home.. We stayed the night and headed home Thursday afternoon. It has been a while since we made a spontaneous trip. It was quite fun. I have noticed that in all the small towns we went through, there was always a Dairy Queen that looked like it has not been changed since the '60's. But enough of that...

I'm sure you all are ready for me to announce the winner, right? Okay here it goes. I put every one's name in a bowl, those who are followers got their name put in twice, and the winner is:

Since I didn't have that many people enter, I drew a second name for just a batch of cookies. The winner of just cookies is:

DiPaola Momma

Congrats to the winners!
Please email me with your address so I can get your package out!
And don't forget about the bonus cookie offer!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Spontaneous trips are the MOST fun and exciting. I've always just wanted to hit the road to see where it would take me. One of these days I'll do that!! If I head south I'll stop by and see ya!
